Steel Cut Oats Recipe

Choice 1- Follow the recipe on the box, but for slow cooking oats follow
Choice 2
1 cup steel cut oats
5 cups of filtered water
Toppings

Rinse oats
Heat pot
Lightly toast oats
Add water
Simmer on low heat for 60 minutes or until the oats are the preferred consistency
Add toasted nuts or seeds, fresh fruit slices and dried fruits and or 1 tablespoon of maple syrup

5 parts water. 1 part steel cut oats.
